Campus environment? What exactly does this section mean? Campus environment includes the general feeling, attitudes and/or cultures on campus, or as some call it, the climate of the campus. According to an American Council on Education (ACE) blog found on Higher Education Today, more diversity has created campuses that try to include all perspectives and beliefs, components that are increasingly critical to student success (2020). With the addition of more students with ID on campuses, the concept of campus environment or campus climate becomes a serious topic for families to discuss.
