The MidYear Institute is a follow-up to the Florida Postsecondary Education Program Planning Institute held in November 2020. This Institute is a mid-year progress update on annual program plans of approved Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Programs (FPCTPs) and institutions of higher education (IHE) seeking to become approved programs. Professional development and technical assistance are provided to teams to facilitate planning and implementation of FPCTPs for students with intellectual disabilities in all types of postsecondary education institutions: universities, state and community colleges, technical colleges and career tech centers.
The purpose of CCT Club Sponsors Annual Meeting is to increase awareness of Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Program (FPCTP) opportunities and help students with intellectual disabilities prepare for and access those opportunities across Florida, the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities (FCSUA) at UCF is partnering with secondary educators to develop and implement Florida College and Career Transition Clubs (CCT Clubs) at local schools serving high school students. The Annual CCT Club Meeting will celebrate their accomplishments and recognize their student outcomes.
